Takaoka Childhood 🌟
In my childhood memories, there's always a door. 🌈 When you open it, it's a magical door, a bamboo helicopter, a little house in the clouds, the cement pipes in the neighborhood square, Doraemon the cat who calls himself a robot, and Nobita, the boy with the round face. 🎢🌸They are always there, along with the little me from back then. The Takaoka City Museum of Art - Fujiko F. Fujio Hometown Gallery Exhibition 🎨. 🌈 It's a 20-minute walk from Takaoka JR Station. You can take the Man'yō Line, but the intervals are quite long. 🎢🌸The exhibition is small. Since I'm a bit of a "text-blind" person when it comes to comics, I can only recognize the blue chubby cat. As I walked through the exhibits, some things felt familiar, but it was just a vague familiarity, until I saw the short film. 🌈 Simple stories with characters I didn't recognize, drawn by the artist whose name I couldn't read, but the English subtitles helped. 🎢🌸Watching it with the cute kids around, by the end, it felt like my childhood, separated by so much time and space, waved and said: "Hello there." Thank you for all the joy and courage you gave me. Goodbye for now. I'll keep traveling and meet you again someday. 🌈 When I was organizing my stuff, I found a stamp under the second phase, because it was the second period of the exhibition. It's truly a place of dreams! #Takaoka 🌈
