The Hometown of the Machine Cat ๐ฑโ๐ Takaoka City is the birthplace of Fujiko F. Fujio, and thus the birthplace of Doraemon! ๐ ๐ฑโ๐ The Takaoka City Museum is currently hosting a 90th-anniversary memorial exhibition for Fujiko F. Fujio. The entrance to the exhibition is a pink Anywhere Door, and walking through it feels like stepping into the legendary life of Fujiko F. Fujio. ๐บ๐ช The souvenirs outside the memorial exhibition are easy to find, and the gacha machines are a must-try! ๐ก ๐ฑโ๐ If youโre visiting Takaoka, donโt miss the Takaoka Fairy Tale Forest Park. It recreates the park scenes from Nobitaโs after-school adventures, and the with Gian is incredibly lifelike! ๐ณ ๐ฑโ๐ Tips: To get to the Takaoka City Museum, besides taking the city tram, if youโre coming from outside Takaoka City, you can take the JR train directly to Echizen-Nakagawa Station. Itโs just a 2-minute walk from there, much more convenient than transferring to the city tram from Takaoka Station. ๐๐ถโโ๏ธ #Takaoka ๐
