The Hometown of the Machine Cat 🐱‍🚀 Takaoka City is the birthplace of Fujiko F. Fujio, and thus the birthplace of Doraemon! 🌟 🐱‍🚀 The Takaoka City Museum is currently hosting a 90th-anniversary memorial exhibition for Fujiko F. Fujio. The entrance to the exhibition is a pink Anywhere Door, and walking through it feels like stepping into the legendary life of Fujiko F. Fujio. 🌺🚪 The souvenirs outside the memorial exhibition are easy to find, and the gacha machines are a must-try! 🎡 🐱‍🚀 If you’re visiting Takaoka, don’t miss the Takaoka Fairy Tale Forest Park. It recreates the park scenes from Nobita’s after-school adventures, and the with Gian is incredibly lifelike! 🌳 🐱‍🚀 Tips: To get to the Takaoka City Museum, besides taking the city tram, if you’re coming from outside Takaoka City, you can take the JR train directly to Echizen-Nakagawa Station.
