Taking a Break from PhD to Explore Places Without Ceilings! ๐ŸŒฒโ›ฐ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Œ

๐Ÿ“ Jacques-Cartier National Park (Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier) Even though summer isn't fully here yet, the park is already incredibly beautiful! ๐Ÿคฉ The shimmering azure lakes and streams along the way are truly therapeutic. โœจ There are numerous trails to choose from in the park, but not all are open at the moment. We opted for the Les Coulees hiking trail (see photo 7). ๐Ÿž๏ธ The time estimate was around 3.5 hours, and it lived up to itโ€”exhausting on the way up but a breeze on the way down. Just follow the signs, and you'll make it! ๐ŸŒฒ (For transportation, you can book a bus with Quatre Natures in advance. If you're taking an Uber or driving, I recommend navigating directly to the visitors centre because there's a long stretch from the park entrance (where you scan your ticket QR code) to the actual starting point of the hike! ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸŒ You can grab a map right at the visitors centre counter and ask the staff for trail recommendations too. ๐Ÿ˜Š Also, there's absolutely NO CELL SERVICE from the moment you enter the park! Remember to download offline maps in advance. If you really need the internet, the visitors centre has Wi-Fi. ๐Ÿ˜‡ #Quebec #AroundQuebec #Hiking #ExploringPlacesWithoutCeilings ๐Ÿž๏ธ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ
