Taste of Paris | Korean-French Fusion Restaurant Perception

💕This time in Paris, my friend and I tried the Michelin-recommended Korean-French fusion restaurant, Perception, which scored 9.8 on The Folk. 💕We booked the lunch set menu, so the price was relatively more affordable. The lunch set menu ranges from 44 euros to 60 euros, while the dinner price ranges from 75 euros to 115 euros. 💕My friend and I chose the 60 euro lunch set menu, which included 2 appetizers + 2 main courses + 1 dessert (choose one out of two). 💕Appetizers: La Kyss Oysters: Oysters paired with tofu foam, kimchi caviar, green apple juice, and crispy pork breast crumble. Sauted Bluefish: Marinated and grilled bluefish served with watercress sauce, colorful beetroot, and red onion pickle. 💕Main Courses: Grilled Squid: Served with roasted pumpkin, white cabbage, and animal cream. Slow-cooked Beef Cheeks: Paired with celery, honey radish, celery root puree, and pickled pear. 💕Dessert: Apple Crumble Tart: Served with Korean chili powder, star anise nut brittle, lemon + Korean chili powder sorbet, and vanilla cream. Pineapple: Paired with verbena cream and mustard sorbet. 💕The butter 🧈 served with the bread was very special, with added flavors like chili powder, giving it a distinct Korean twist. 💕Every dish in the lunch set menu was excellent, adhering to the basic principles of French cuisine while highlighting the characteristics of Korean food. The most memorable dish was the slow-cooked beef cheeks. 💕However, I don’t recommend it for those who are in a hurry or have shopping plans during lunchtime.
