Tbilisi, God's Back Garden π
At the age of 20-something, do things that you'll still smile about when you're 80. The sunset in Tbilisi is absolutely stunning!!! π π² 1οΈβ£ The Clock Tower, a historical building in the old town of Tbilisi and one of the city's most iconic structures, stands on Maidan Square, approximately 30 meters tall, featuring a large clock face and a small, exquisite spire. Built in the 1930s when Georgia was part of the Soviet Union, it used to be the headquarters of a bank but was later transformed into a clock tower. It's recommended to visit this attraction at noon when there's a puppet show that chimes the clock, which is quite interesting. ππ€ΉββοΈ 2οΈβ£ The Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi is the main cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church and the largest church in Tbilisi, located on Ivane Gudiashvili Street in the city center. βͺοΈπ°οΈ 3οΈβ£ Mtatsminda Park is a theme park in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, situated on Tbilisi Mountain at an altitude of 770 meters, overlooking the entire city. π³π 4οΈβ£ Meidan Bazar is a marketplace in the old town of Tbilisi, near Meidan Square. This market features many small stalls selling a variety of goods, such as traditional Georgian handicrafts, souvenirs, antiques, and local cuisine. Meidan Bazar is arguably one of the oldest and most historically valuable traditional markets in Tbilisi, dating back to the 19th century. π§Άπ 5οΈβ£ Dry Bridge Market is located in the city center of Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, and is a famous open-air art and antique market. This market is usually held on Saturdays and Sundays, gathering many folk crafts, antiques, and second-hand items, such as old photographs, stamps, toys, furniture, clocks, etc. π¨ποΈ 6οΈβ£ Narikala Fortress is an ancient castle located in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, originally constructed in the 4th century. This castle is perched on a hilltop, overlooking the entire city of Tbilisi and the Mtkvari River Valley, and is one of the city's most famous landmarks. π°π This place is also my top recommendation. It's superb to visit at sunset. Take the cable car for 2.5 Lari up the mountain, first look at the statue on the right, then walk to the left, and go downhill. If you see the entrance to the castle, you must climb up; the view is breathtaking. I took my best photos on the city walls and highly recommend it. πΈπ #GeorgiaTravel #TravelDiary
