Tested the Legendary Gothic Exhibition in London

🏰 First of all, my conclusion: I absolutely love Two Temple Place! I’m really fond of this building that only opens for three months a year. 😠 Ugh! Exhibitions like the Glass Heart and the Gothic Exhibition were from a long time ago. Fortunately, I didn’t listen to them, and it didn’t affect my experience at all. 👉 The current exhibition is Lives Less Ordinary: Working-Class Britain Re-seen. It’s definitely worth a visit! ⚠️ The exhibition runs until the 20th of this month. There are only 10 days left. If you miss it, you’ll have to wait another year. 🎈 Exhibition Name: Lives Less Ordinary: Working-Class Britain Re-seen 🕐 Exhibition Dates: January 25, 2025 - April 20, 2025 Closed on Mondays. Tuesday to Saturday: 11am-6pm (Wednesday until 9pm, Sunday until 4:30pm) 📍 Exhibition Location: Two Temple Place (a stunning building that only opens for three months a year), London WC2R 3BD 🎫 Admission: Free (No reservation required, just walk in) 🌟 Here are some fun ways to enjoy Two Temple Place: 1️⃣🏠 Admire the architecture: The building itself is stunning, and it has been featured in many TV shows and movies, including Downton Abbey. 2️⃣🪟 Check out the stained glass windows: On the second floor, there are two windows—one depicting sunrise and the other sunset. 3️⃣👼 See the “angry little angel”: On the second floor, there’s a door carved with nine female figures by the same sculptor who created Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens. Above the door is a “grumpy” little angel. The staff said the angel is angry because its leg is broken. How cute is that? I should also mention that many of the staff members are elderly gentlemen and ladies who are incredibly friendly! Sometimes they even share stories about the building. 4️⃣🛍️ Visit the shop: The store is small but beautiful. I left with a book about the building. 5️⃣ Join in the activities: During the opening period, there are many interesting events or “pay as you can” activities. I tried a candle-making workshop this time, and it was a lot of fun! #WhereToGoOnWeekends #London #LondonLife #UK #LondonExhibitions #LondonExhibitionGuide #LondonExhibitionDiary #Church #LondonTravel #FreeAttractionsInLondon #HiddenGemExhibitions #twotempleplace #UKStudentLife #FreeExhibitionsInLondon #SoloExhibitionVisit #MyExhibitionDiary #RecommendedExhibitions
