Texas BBQ, I'm here! 🥹 Crashed for two days after getting home and finally getting back to posting... One-day trip to Texas (Fort Worth town). Happened to catch some light rain—weather was cool and not at all like typical Texas, haha 😅🌧️. 📍 Fort Worth Town A very Texan-flavored town with lots of vintage stores for clothes, accessories, and souvenirs 🛍️🤠. Daily Longhorn Cattle Drive at 11:30 AM and 4:00 PM (check Fort Worth Stockyards website for details). The drive only lasts about 5 minutes, so go early—otherwise, like us, you might have to rush twice to catch it 🥲🐂. 📍 Second Rodeo Brewing A super spacious bar 🍻. Also in Fort Worth town, a random bar we walked into that opened up to a huge outdoor plaza 🌞. Ordered steak fingers and pineapple-flavored spicy wings—both delicious. Also tried Sheldon’s dad’s favorite Lone Star beer (really good, not bitter at all, just pure grainy aroma) 🍺👨‍👦. 📍 Stockyards Championship Rodeo Bull riding show only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays—plan your timing! We bought tickets on StubHub, cheaper than the official site 🎫💸. The event includes different competitions (bull riding, barrel racing, steer roping, etc.), with contestants from all over—highly entertaining and wild vibes ahead❗️🐎🤠. 📍 Terry Black BBQ BBQ joint recommended by a friend. Feels like a food court inside—pretty unique. Ordered brisket and beef rib, both excellent 👍 Finally fulfilled my Texas BBQ dream 🍖🥹. Didn’t have time to visit more spots, but felt like this town gave us the perfect Texas experience.
