Texas Chill Food & Fun Route | Copy My Homework!
Just spent a long weekend in the freedom-filled state of Texas! ๐ค Due to limited time, we only explored San Antonio + Dallas. Here are some highly recommended food spots and activities! ๐จ ACCOMMODATION San Antonio: Hyatt Regency Riverwalk ๐ Right on the riverfront โ steps away from the River Walk! ๐ถ Walking distance to The Alamo, Market Square, and other major attractions โ super convenient. โจ The hotel itself is beautiful, with a relaxed and comfortable vibe. ๐ Pro Tip: SAโs attractions are very walkable. Driving can be a parking nightmare, so skip the rental car! Dallas: Hyatt Regency Dallas ๐ The highlight? Reunion Tower is inside the hotel! ๐ซ Want a city skyline view? Just take the elevator โ no travel needed. ๐ Perfect downtown location โ easy access to restaurants and attractions. ๐ฝ๏ธ FOOD & DRINKS ๐ด San Antonio:๐ฅฉ InterStellar BBQ โญ Michellin-starred BBQ (actually located in Austin) ๐ฑ The line was insane โ we waited 2 hours under the blazing sunโฆ ๐ By the time we ordered, the famous brisket was sold out. ๐ธ Tried pork belly and ribs โ decent, but not worth the crazy wait. ๐ Mian Noodle Saw "Shanxi" on the menu and immediately rushed in! The Lanzhou hand-pulled noodles were authentic & delicious. ๐ฅ The roujiamo (pork burger) was incredibly flavorful โ a must-try! ๐ธ Boudroโs on the Riverwalk๐ Perfect riverside dining spot โ great for dates or casual drinks. ๐ธ Ambiance and lighting are top-notch โ very Instagrammable. ๐ฝ Every dish we ordered was a hit โ we finished it all! ๐ด Dallas:๐ฒ Haidilao Hot Pot ๐ That familiar tomato broth hit all the right spots โ so nostalgic! ๐ญ Felt like being back in China โ ended up grabbing a bunch of free snacks on the way out. โค A comforting taste of home for all international students! ๐ฅ The Henry๐ฅฃ If you're looking for good "white people food," this is the spot! ๐ Strawberry & Watermelon Salad โ sounds weird, but surprisingly refreshing! ๐ฟ Great vibe, healthy options, and a beautiful setting. ๐ผ ACTIVITIES ๐ต San Antonio:The attractions are super compact โ you can hit almost everything in one day if you're a speed-traveler! โ The Alamo is a must-see for history buffs. โ Old San Juan (likely referring to La Villita or King William District) is super photogenic. โ Only downside: The heat can be brutal for walking around outside. ๐ Dallas:Our stay was short, so we only explored downtown. ๐ฏ Activate โ a super fun indoor active game center! ๐ซ Great for friends, couples, or families โ highly interactive and engaging. โ FINAL TIPS๐ถ Walk or use rideshare in SA โ parking is a hassle. ๐ธ Donโt forget your camera โ both cities are super photogenic! ๐ฎ Eat, explore, and enjoy the chill Texas vibes!
