🌟 Texas Triangle Tour: Dallas–Fort Worth Edition 🌟
The final stop of our Texas Triangle tour was Dallas and neighboring Fort Worth. It’s about a 3.5-hour drive north from Houston. Since it was my second time visiting, I planned the itinerary more strategically this time! Day 1 We started early downtown and hit several iconic spots located close to each other: John F. Kennedy Memorial Plaza & Museum 🇺🇸 Learned about the JFK assassination and visited the 6th floor of the museum for an immersive sniper’s-eye view of Dealey Plaza. Giant Eyeball 👁️ A 9-meter-tall sculpture known as the “Eye of Dallas.” Fenced off—so you can only view and take photos from a distance. Quick but unmissable! Thanks-Giving Square 🙏 Features a stunning white spiral chapel designed by a Pritzker Prize-winning French architect (1976). The horizontal stained-glass ceiling shines magnificently in the sunlight—like a gorgeous nautilus shell! 🐚✨ In the afternoon, we explored the Dallas Museum of Art 🖼️, one of the largest art museums in the U.S. Located in the Arts District, it spans four floors with over 25,000 works. We stayed till closing at 5 PM and still didn’t see everything! Day 2 We dedicated the day to the Fort Worth Stockyards 🤠. Last time I only caught the rodeo—this time we arrived before noon to fully experience the historic cattle-trading atmosphere and Western culture. The evening Rodeo Show was even better the second time! 🤩 The performances and energy were absolutely thrilling. Our whole family agreed—it was the highlight of our Texas trip! 📌 Pro tip: Buy tickets in advance from the official website. Shows are only Friday & Saturday nights (7:30 PM entry, ends by 10 PM). Avoid resale sites—they’re expensive and non-refundable. Bonus Attractions (if you have extra time!): Reunion Tower 🗼 A 171-meter iconic landmark with an outdoor observation deck offering 360° views of Dallas. Perot Museum of Nature & Science 🦖 A kid-friendly museum with a striking design, 11 exhibit halls, interactive displays, a 3D theater, gift shop, and café. #Texas #Dallas #FortWorth #TravelUSA #Museums #CowboyCulture #Rodeo #FamilyTravel #VisitDallas #TexasTravel 🌵🤠🇺🇸
