Thai House|🇨🇦 A Hidden Thai Gem in Kingston

Thai House was one of my favorite Thai restaurants before the pandemic~ I passed by today and popped in again, only to realize many friends haven’t heard of it. So I thought I’d jot down a note to share (address at the end~) It’s tucked away on a side street between Princess St. and Queen St. Turn in from the lane next to James Reid Furniture, and you’ll spot it—a yellow awning with green lettering for a sign 🚩 (admittedly, easy to miss at first glance). I find the main dishes here are quite generous in portion. This time, with two of us, we just ordered our favorite classics: p2: Tom Yum Soup, Pineapple Fried Rice, Fried Bananas, and Ice Cream 🍨 I originally wanted Mango Sticky Rice, but mangoes aren’t in season right now—if you’re craving that, try visiting in summer or later! p3: Thai Iced Tea 🥃. It’s super smooth, no bitterness at all, with a slight sweetness. Anyway, I’m obsessed—whether it’s hot or not, I have to order one, haha! The menu has plenty more to explore: rice, noodles, soups, curries… Maybe I’ll share more when I remember (mostly just lazy? 😝). If you get the chance, go check it out! 🛎 Thai House Cuisine Kingston 📍 185 Sydenham St #183, Kingston, ON K7K 3M1 #thaihouse #ThaiFood #FoodTour #Food #MyFoodDiary #FoodShare #WhatToEatToday #Canada #kingston #Kingston #Queens #QU 🇹🇭
