Thanksgiving Adventure|First Snow in Albany, NY’s Capital
Wanting to escape the crowds during Thanksgiving break, we drove north from NYC. Snow fell heavier and heavier outside the window 🚗💨, and by the time we reached downtown Albany, everything was covered in white. The chilly wind hit our faces, giving the old streets a cinematic vibe 🎬. After circling around a few times, we finally found a barely-legal parking spot 🅿️. We walked to the New York State Capitol, where the usual I ❤️ NY sign had been replaced by an undecorated Christmas tree 🎄. The New York State Museum was closed, so after freezing outside for 20 minutes, we decided to head back to the car and find somewhere warm and tasty to eat 🍲☕️. 📍 Landmarks you can search on Google Maps: New York State Capitol New York State Museum Albany Institute of History & Art Can’t say the trip was wasted—still grateful this Thanksgiving... especially that my car parked in a restricted spot didn’t get towed! 🤪 #SnowyCity #Snowscape #ChristmasSnow #Albany #NYCapital #WinterTravel
