The 10 ultimate dining spots in Luang Prabang!
๐ฑ๐ฆ I stayed in Luang Prabang for a week, and my daily routine was wandering the streets to eat and drinkโLao restaurants with an average cost of 15 (currency unspecified) per person, 8-yuan(internet-famous) coffee by the Mekong River, and a cozy French restaurant hidden in an alley with an average spend of just 50 per person ๐. Here are 10 of my favorite spots, all in Luang Prabang!๐ผ๏ธ๐ผ๏ธ ๐๐good people good food good price This is definitely the place I ate at most in Luang Prabang. Itโs a Lao restaurant where you can eat your fill for around 15 per person. ๐ ๐ฅThereโs a wide variety of dishes, and ordering one portion is basically enough for one person. Can you believe so many dishes cost just over 10 for one person?๐ Khemkhong view๐ A locally well-known Lao hotpot restaurant by the Mekong River. The taste is almost the same as other Lao hotpot places, but its advantage is that you can enjoy the Mekong River view while eating. The hotpot has a grill in the middle for meat and a surrounding area for boiling, with an average cost of around 50 per person.๐ง๐ง POPOLO Pizzeriaโบ๏ธ ๐๐With a blue exterior and bougainvillea at the corner, this pizza shop in an alley feels especially cozy. All pizzas are made and baked fresh, so you need to go early. ๐๐ I had the mushroom, tomato, and minced meat pizza ๐. The bougainvillea at the entrance is perfect for photos โผ๏ธ Dada Cafe An internet-famous coffee shop by the Mekong River. An Americano costs 10, and the taste of several (internet-famous) coffee shops in Luang Prabang is almost similar. Itโs a good choice for afternoon tea to kill time. The ๐ lemon soda here is also delicious!๐ฅ๐ฅ Mekong Sunset View Restaurant By the Mekong River, near Luang Prabang Royal Palace. All the riverside restaurants in this row have great views of the Mekong. Three people spent a total of 350,000 Lao Kip, which is about 50 per person.๐๏ธ ๐๐ Luang Prabang Morning Market Noodle Shop A delicious noodle shop in the morning market that locals frequent. Walk in from the entrance and look for the green sign in the picture. I had beef rice noodles and crispy pork rice noodles. Adding ๐โ๐ฉ lime juice enhances the soupโs flavor. Luang Prabang Instant Noodle Stall For around 10 per person, you get huge chunks of beef. The rich broth with blanched beef is amazing! Located opposite Daofa Hotel (navigate here).๐ธ๐ธ Night Market Noodle Stall The owner is a local Lao. Lao ramen has a rich meat broth flavor, and many foreigners line up here. Just find the stall in the picture.๐ฅ Dyen Sabai ๐๐Located in Nankham, across the old town, facing the Nam Khan River (a tributary of the Mekong). The bamboo bridge has been dismantled, but if you take a boat to the restaurant, your boat fare can be reimbursed!๐๐ผ Night Market Fruit Smoothie Fruit smoothies are a daily must-have in Luang Prabang to cool down and hydrate! The fruits here are fresh, and the stall is at the entrance of the alley opposite the night market. The owner speaks Chinese๏ฝ๐ต #LaosTravel #LuangPrabangTravel #LuangPrabangGuide #Laos #LaosFood #LessTraveledDestinations
