The Bavarian Bierhaus | Milwaukee ๐ป What to Eat & Drink
๐ 700 W Lexington Blvd โ about 15-20 minutes from downtown Milwaukee This is a massive beer hall ๐บโฐ๏ธ perfect for watching games! They have their own brewery onsite, and waitresses dressed in traditional Drindls ๐ง๐ป๐ฉ๐ช such a vibe! ๐ฏ We actually had just come from the Lakefront Brewery tour and were already pretty full on beer ๐๐ป But I still tried their Black Bird IPA โ a classic! Not too complex, with notes of caramel + sweetness ๐ฌ, bright citrus ๐, and a mild bitterness. Perfect for the crazy windy Midwest weather ๐ฌ๏ธ๐ต By the way, the Lakefront Brewery tour is solid $17 per person with 4 pours ๐ป๐ Worth a stop if youโre in the area! ๐ Oven Baked Pork Shank: Came specially for the skin-on pork shank โ did not disappoint! Smoky, juicy, and honestly better than the one I remember at Mรคderโs ๐ฒ๐ฅ ๐ท Fried Pigskin: ABSOLUTELY LEGENDARY ๐ The frying temp was perfect โ still a tiny bit moist inside ๐ Sprinkled with seasoned salt and dipped in cheddar sauceโฆ life-changing ๐๐ง ๐ฅฉ Beef Rouladen, Sausage Trio, Cheese Plate: Beef rolls + sausage sampler + basically a giant Lunchableยฎ decent but nothing special. ๐ต Total for three $140 ๐ท๏ธ#MadisonWI #MadisonFood #Milwaukee #MKEfood #BavarianBierhaus #BeerHall #GermanFood #WisconsinEats
