The Best Duck in All of New York Still Goes to Francie! 🦆
I finally made it to Francie, a place I’ve wanted to visit for so long. For someone living on Manhattan, Brooklyn feels like a whole different world! 🌆 Foie Gras Canelé 🌕 This foie gras is the star of the night! 🌟 The texture is incredibly rich, and the Earl Grey tea and plum aromas perfectly balance the fattiness of the liver. It’s a masterpiece! 🎨 Japanese Snapper 🌕 The freshness is top-notch! The caviar adds a touch of luxury to the dish, and the yogurt sauce really enhances the flavor. 🐟 Ravioli 🌕 Lobster ravioli with saffron—every bite is a journey. The layers of flavor from the sauce and the fresh lobster meat make it unforgettable. 🦞 Agnolotti Del Plin 🌕 To be honest, it was a bit underwhelming. The dish was a bit too salty, and the truffle didn’t add much. Maybe my expectations were just too high? 🤔 Dry-Aged Crown of Duck 🌕 The wait was worth every minute! The waiter said they had hundreds of orders for Valentine’s Day. The meat is incredibly tender, the skin is crispy, and the sausage jam is a unique touch. This dish comes with two sides, and trust me, it’s more than enough for three people. 🍖 Overall, the Foie Gras Canelé and the duck are definitely worth a special trip. The pasta is okay but nothing extraordinary. The experience wasn’t quite a 5-star one, and I don’t think I’ll be coming back anytime soon. #NewYork 🌟
