The best hiking route around Brisbane

For rainforest adventures and waterfall fun, it's Springbrook National Park! It's perfect for a weekend getaway, where you can immerse yourself in the mystery of the rainforest and witness the grandeur of spectacular waterfalls💦. 🚗Transport Guide: Self-driving: It takes about 1 hour to drive from downtown Brisbane, and the scenery along the way is also very pleasant. Public transport: Unfortunately, there is no direct bus. It is recommended to rent a car or carpool with friends, which is flexible and convenient. 🎟️Ticket Information: The national park is free to enter. You don't have to spend a penny on tickets to enjoy the gifts of nature. Parking is also free, but spaces are limited. If you want a good spot, it's advisable to set off early. 🥾Recommended Hiking Route: Twin Falls Circuit Difficulty: Moderate (some sections are relatively slippery, so you need to be extra careful when walking, and it's best to wear non-slip shoes). Length: Approximately 4-kilometer loop route, which won't make you feel overly tired. Time: 2-3 hours (including time for taking photos and playing in the water, you can control the pace yourself). 📍Route Details: Start from the Tallanbana picnic area parking lot, get your gear ready, and start this rainforest adventure. Walk slowly along the rainforest trail, surrounded by dense green plants. The air is super fresh, as if every breath is cleansing your lungs. It doesn't take long before you can faintly hear the roar of the waterfall, and a burst of excitement surges in your heart! Soon you'll reach the first waterfall. There's a super exciting way to experience it - you can walk through the back of the waterfall and feel the shock of the water pouring down from above. Continue exploring forward, and you'll see the second waterfall. The pool here is crystal clear, perfect for swimming and playing in the water to dispel the fatigue of hiking. Finally, walk back to the parking lot along the steep steps. Although your calves will be a bit sore, you'll feel a great sense of accomplishment. 👀Attractions Along the Way: Canyon Lookout: Here you can overlook the magnificent scenery of the entire canyon, especially at sunset, when the setting sun shines on the canyon, it's breathtakingly beautiful. Twin Falls: Two adjacent waterfalls are like twin sisters, with water rushing down, making it an excellent place for water fun. Goomoolahra Falls: A 73-meter-high waterfall, with water rushing down from a height, magnificent and super spectacular. Best of All Lookout: Standing here, you can overlook the distant Gold Coast, with a wide view and stunning scenery. ⚠️Safety Tips: Be sure to follow the warning signs along the way. Don't break into dangerous areas for taking photos. Safety is always the top priority. The steps may be slippery after being washed by rain. Walk slowly and step firmly. Try not to act alone. It's better to go with a partner to take care of each other. There may be no mobile phone signal in the park. Tell your relatives and friends about your itinerary and expected return time before departure. Check the weather forecast in advance. It's not recommended to go on rainy days as the road conditions will be very poor. Finally, Springbrook is really the best place for a weekend getaway around Brisbane! A visit here will definitely fill your lungs with negative ions and make you full of energy💪! If you like it, please like and collect it~ I will continue to recommend outdoor activities in Australia for everyone!❤️ #BrisbaneHiking #RainforestAdventure #AustralianInternationalStudents #WeekendGetaway #OutdoorSports
