The best pasta in Florence
🏠 Despite the bad weather these past few days, I had some incredibly delicious pasta near Piazzale Michelangelo! We only ordered two types of pasta, and both were amazing! The overall ambiance of the restaurant was super cozy and warm. That octopus pasta was just out of this world—it’s the one thing I can’t stop thinking about in Florence. Highly recommended: 📍 - Octopus Pasta (Linguine al Polpo con scorza di Limone e Pomodorini) : This dish is incredibly aromatic! The combination of octopus and lemon is truly unique, and the octopus is incredibly tender. Each bite is unforgettable.📍 In Florence, I was craving lobster 🦞 pasta and seafood risotto, so I searched everywhere. I stumbled upon this century-old steakhouse. Their most famous dishes aren't lobster pasta, but rather various types of steak. As soon as you enter, there are huge wall coolers on both sides displaying all kinds of steak. I even spotted Japanese Kobe beef. Almost every table orders the 1,500g super-thick ribeye steak. You can choose the type of steak yourself or let the waiter recommend one. (At that time, I wanted to have both pasta and rice, so I just ordered the basic version of the small ribeye.) - Red Shrimp Tartare (Tartare di Gambero rosso) : This appetizer combines sweet shrimp and apple, and the flavors and textures are just perfect.
