The Big Mouth
On the last night before leaving Johannesburg, I revisited Big Mouth. The photos are straight out of the camera without any editing. ⛳️Address: Shop No 13 & 14 of Nelson Mandela Square, Corner Maude & 5th St, Sandton 🚌Transport: Take an Uber to Mandela Square, or use the free shuttle service from Sandton hotels. 🍳Cuisine: Sushi & Grill 🍝Recommended Dish: Seafood Pasta ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I mainly came back for this dish. The seafood includes shrimp, squid, shellfish, and white fish. The chef seasoned it with tomato sauce, wine, and other ingredients, which really amazed all my friends! However, the shrimp in the second visit were not very fresh, which slightly affected the taste. 🍣Recommended Dish: S.U.V Sushi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I ordered this because S.U.V is like a mini sampler, including rock shrimp tempura, California salmon, and other rolls from the sushi menu. You can also choose Chicago or Rainbow for other sushi options. 🥩Recommended Dish: Rib Eye/Sirloin on the Bone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ For the steak, make sure to order it Medium (medium doneness) or Medium Rare (medium-rare). It won't be as tasty if it's overcooked. 🌮Other Dishes: Tuna Taco Slider, Green Salad The Tacos are small and delicious, easy to forget how many you've eaten. ❗️A 1L bottle of Still Water costs 78 rand, which is about 31 RMB. It's better to bring your own water! The English menu doesn't have pictures. If you're unsure what to order, you can ask the waiter for recommendations. Overall, Big Mouth is really delicious. If I have the chance to come to Johannesburg again, I'll definitely visit for the third time. Everyone should give it a try. 💵The last two photos show the menu. The first meal cost 1314 rand, and the second meal cost 1014 rand, plus a 10% (or whatever you decide) tip. The average cost per person is 330 rand, which is about 132 RMB. #Johannesburg #JohannesburgFood #JohannesburgTravel #MandelaSquare #MandelaSquareFood #Sandton #SandtonFood #CaptainSummer
