The Canadian Rockies that Melt Your Heart ⛰️😍
From the snowflakes dancing around Louise Lake to the heavy snowflakes greeting us at Moraine Lake, it was a day spent braving the chilly winds. 🌬️🥶 Fortunately, the sun stayed by our side the whole time, allowing us to soak in the most breathtaking lake views! 🤗😘 Moraine Lake, a glacial lake nestled in Banff National Park at the northern end of the Canadian Rockies, lies at the foot of the Seven Sisters mountains. It's one of North America's most renowned lakes. 🏞️✨ Every year, by the end of June, the lake reaches its highest water level. The rock flour suspended in the water refracts sunlight, giving the lake its stunning turquoise hue that takes your breath away. Today marked the first day this year that the shuttle service to Moraine Lake resumed—what luck! 😊🍀 Louise Lake, another famous gem in Banff, is surrounded by mountains on three sides. The serene, emerald-green lake is incredibly captivating against the backdrop of majestic peaks and the awe-inspiring Victoria Glacier. 🏔️💧 Thanks to the minerals from glacial runoff, the lake shimmers with a clear turquoise color under the sunlight, earning it the nickname "the Sapphire of the Rockies."
