The Eliza Jane: An A+ Stay! π¨β¨
We just spent five wonderful nights at The Eliza Jane, and it was absolutely fantastic! Every staff member we met was top-notch β the doorman always welcomed us back with a smile and opened the door with warmth πͺπ. I loved the infused water in the lobby β a refreshing treat, especially for a girl from Minnesota dealing with the New Orleans heat! π₯΅π¦ The bar is a must-visit πΈ β we saw plenty of festive groups stopping by in sparkly outfits β¨. Just outside the bar area, thereβs a beautiful lounge and library β cozy and perfect for relaxing with a book or a drink ππΉ. We upgraded to an interior suite, and it was perfect! Housekeeping did an amazing job every day ποΈπ§Ό β something we really appreciate since many hotels back home still donβt offer daily cleaning. Our suite had a living room (where we watched movies and football one night while ordering room service π₯πΏ) and a separate bedroom with a king-sized bed (and another TV!). A solid door between the rooms made sure we slept in quiet darkness π΄π. Both rooms had plenty of lighting β no dim corners here! π‘ Located just 2-3 blocks from Canal Street, the hotel felt safe and super walkable. We walked almost everywhere β except for the Garden District (we took the streetcar π) and City Park (we grabbed an Uber π).
