The First-Ever Women’s Hockey Game At Madison Square Garden That Fans Can Attend Will Finally Happen This Spring

MSG’s first-ever women’s hockey game: New York Sirens vs. Seattle Torrent ------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Midtown attraction has broken records in the women’s sports world beforehand — hosting the all-female boxing event with Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano in 2022, the venue’s first women’s college basketball game in 1975 between Queens College and Immaculata — so this is a natural fit, and dare we say, long overdue. MSG has hosted the Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association (PWHPA) before in 2021, however, fans were not permitted inside the arena due to Covid-19 pandemic regulations. That’s about to change. “Madison Square Garden has a storied women’s sports history, and on April 4, the New York Sirens will add their own chapter at The World’s Most Famous Arena, as fans get the chance to attend professional women’s hockey at the Garden for the first time,” Daoust added. ### About the game: On Saturday, April 4th at 8pm ET, the game marks the third and final meeting of the 2025–26 PWHL regular season.
