So I attended the final kiss concert ever on December 2 at Madison Square, Gardens looking forward to the event I went to the Arena to pre-purchase concert merchandise and was greeted by arrogant and ignorant security staff with a serious attitude, making us remove every object from our body so it could be scanned as well as any bags and this, I understand as it is safety operation for the protection of all visitors and staff, but it’s the way it was done the way they spoke to us with attitude and aggression, and yet on the night I was assured straight through with no check at all well that is a joke. If you’re going to do a job do it properly in my opinion they-do not know how to talk to the general public and as having done that job I can relate to it but could’ve done the job 1000 times better if you have an attitude don’t do the job it causes grief also when purchasing my merchandise, the staff they couldn’t get you away from the standard fast enough they just wanted your card the purchase and then get rid of you as fast as possible, no manners at all in fact, I found them quite rude and abusive and only purchased my merchandise on there as I could not get the coat anywhere else. Entry into the arena on the night was pretty much a joke as they were roadworks outside with restricted entrance to the rear where you were forced down a walkway only wide enough for two people with a huge crowd converging on the arena. this caused a minor squash, and this was the same when we were herded out the building and yes we were rushed out with minimal staff helping it’s surprise nobody got hurt from block 208 up on the top we were directed down the stairwell that was wide enough for two people just about but not recommended and if like myself, you had a medical condition well this didn’t matter you were just told you’ve got to go that way again arrogant rude staff Regards to the seating it’s a shame that you do not advise people that could be a restricted view when purchasing the seats as I was lucky with mine I just about missed the wall by the side of me that did, in fact, restrict the view of the person behind me, which would’ve been block 208, row 15 seat 6 especially as tickets for that area were $500 and so not cheap On the way out apparently we were supposed to be given a golden ticket supplied by the band for people attending both of the final nights. Well, those were not issued on the first night, and certainly only a few got them on the second night, and yet a surprise, surprise your vendors Have now splash these all over eBay well done on employing staff with attitude and who are ignorant and I’ve actually deprived the fans of what was rightfully theirs The concert itself was awesome As kiss always are, but it’s a shame that little matters like this spoiled the whole day, especially as we had traveled from England just for this event, I don’t think I would break my neck to rush back there again, unless they were essential circumstances to advertise it as the worlds greatest Arena I find it a bit of a brash statement as I have been to areas with better and more polite staff such a shame as this was a monumental event and that’s why I rated solo. It would’ve been better if staff had been visiting outside to help with the congestion and the queue prior to entering the arena as well as exiting the arena So yes, the concert was great. The band were awesome but the staff and the Arena need a lot of work you are far from the best. I hope somebody reads this and takes it on board and realizes how people have been treated and how they’ve been deprived by selfish vendors keeping Gifts for themselves to sell in my world I call that thieving If anybody from the Arena wants to contact me, I am happy to talk to them. Would I recommend it only if it was a necessity such a shame, a beautiful city, with potentially a beautiful Arena, just poorly, managed...

Read moreOk now I see whyyy madison square garden got alot of good reviews because it is not customized for black entertainment. Hockey games and WWE I'm sure for these massive ticket goers go and pay their tickets they expect the escalators to be working and I'm sure MSG have those escalators on because they don't want to upset the angry hockey fans or the loosing team fans cause they will hold a rally with msg staff. I will never ever ever go to another concert held by MSG even if it was for the pope. I forgot all about msg until Mary J. Said she was going to perform there. I'm a day one fan and I will travel to the next state if she picks Madison square garden again. Yayyyy we all excited, then they have an express bag lane and if you on that lane how the hell you are suppose to know how big of a bag they will except on that lane, no announcement, no pictures or anything. This mean ass security guard kicks me off the line after I'm ready to go through and says I gotta go to the back of the lie. I sure didn't I spotted right over to the regular lane in the same line. So the crowd trying to get in to scan tickets...EVERYONE WAS ALL OVER THE PLACE NO ORDER NO LINE OR ANYTHING. OK NOW the only thing that was good was the food and drink prices and the lines were short because we got there early and bathrooms were ok but too small. Now we get seated but if you sit in the 200s, 300 seats 21, 22, 23 your view is obstructed by a freakin wall. MSG turned all the TVS off for viewing and turned off the surround sound in the back so the ticket payors that are sitting high up can't hear or see. A lady slipped and fell down the aisle at least 6 steps down she went tumbling not falling. You want to know why because MSG steps are old with cracks at the tip. There was no black strip grip or grips on them. And one of the singers MIC did not work.. I know Mary was pisseddddddd. She is really funny about that. Now show is over how the hell over 2,000 people get out. MSG had us stranded in the venue. No elevators to access and they shut off the escalators. Once we got to the very bottom another lady fell off the non moving escalator. Nice fat chunk of change for her. And not to metioned my sister told me the toilets stop flushing MSG need to be shut down and remodeled from top to bottom to fit all cultures not just white fans. Along with up to date security, new management that care about us. This is why alot of singers and rappers and musicians stopped performing here. Now I see why. I'm very disappointed and disgusted with my experience. And I will not attend another concert here. Barclay center and prudentential or usb arena in ny/nj or metlife/Rutherford for...
