The French Bistro That the Guy Next Table Has Visited Five Times
Lately, I’ve been craving a French bistro, so I blindly rushed to a nearby Bib Gourmand restaurant. Overall experience was fantastic! So delicious!!! 🍽️👌 [Chicken Liver & Ragu on the Toast] was incredibly tasty. The chicken liver was super tender and had no hint of gaminess. Paired with sourdough soaked in meat broth, it was a silent bite of heaven. 🦆👍 [Confit Duck Leg] - a famous dish at French bistros and my must-order. Their duck leg was truly the tenderest I’ve ever had!!! It would fall apart with just a gentle touch of the knife. Not only was there no gaminess, but it also didn’t have the dryness that some confit ducks have after being fried. The outer layer of duck skin was filled with the aroma of oils released after a light fry, yet it wasn’t greasy at all. So good! 👌The service there was really nice. Since I was dining alone and sitting at the counter, they kept me company with conversation and even recommended several other restaurants for me to try when I have time.
