The freshly fried truffle chips are just so delicious!
A few days ago, I spent a sunny long weekend in Florence with my friends. When visiting Florence, apart from exploring various museums, of course, we also indulged in local specialties! As two truffle enthusiasts, we decided to treat ourselves to a hearty meal for our first meal, giving our tired legs a break and satisfying our cravings. ๐ฝ๏ธ Restaurant: Osteria delle tre panche (the restaurant is part of a hotel, with a rooftop) ๐บ๏ธ Ambiance: In the summer, the rooftop terrace is fully open, offering a view of the distant Florence Cathedral dome. In the winter, the area is enclosed with transparent fabric, and there's heating inside. The outer balcony is closed, but you can still see the distant scenery through the fabric. We booked a table for 19:30, and when we arrived, the restaurant was not crowded, making for a quiet and comfortable experience. It's not a place packed with tourists, which I really appreciated. ๐ Cuisine: There were options for both white and black truffles. We ordered the white truffle risotto, along with some truffle chips and a dessert. The risotto was very fragrant and flavorful, but what truly impressed me was the plate of freshly fried truffle chips. They were hot, crispy, and delicious! I almost wanted to take a bag home to enjoy while watching TVโit was that good! ๐๏ธ Price: The average cost per person was around 40 euros, which I'd say is quite reasonable for the quality and experience. #Italy #Florence #Travel
