The garlic-infused seafood aroma hit the roof of my mouth
I’ve been to Da Mario many times, but I’ve never written a report! How could I keep such a delicious restaurant to myself! Guys, if you have the chance, you must try it! There are two locations in London, South Kensington and Covent Garden! I recommend the South Kensington one for the taste, but Covent Garden is more convenient! Make a reservation in advance!!! You can also try walk-in during non-peak hours, depending on your luck! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Cestino Di Pane Al L‘Aglio O Senza: Garlic bread, a must-try! This is highly recommended by the waitstaff, and it’s truly exceptional! Practically every table orders it! It’s definitely freshly made! The center is thin and crispy, but the edges are super soft, with a strong garlic flavor and olive oil! Dipping the soft edges in the spicy shrimp olive oil is also delicious! About 7 pounds for a large portion, great value! 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Grigliata Mista Di Pesce: The grandparents at the next table ordered this, and it smelled amazing! My friends and I couldn’t help but ask what they were having 🤣 Grilled sea bass, squid, and prawns! The accompanying salad is fantastic! 20 pounds 🌟🌟🌟 Rigatoni Da Mario:asta, starts off very tasty! The sauce is fragrant! But I have a light palate and found it slightly salty. The pasta has a slightly al dente texture. About 14 pounds 🌟🌟Gamberoni Aglio, Olio E Peperoncino: The trendy olive oil prawns, 12 pounds for 3 prawns, not the best value, but the taste is decent, not bad! 🌟 Tiramisu: 6.5 pounds, just okay, not as good as the one from Eatly supermarket! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Spag Sapore di Mare: Amazing seafood spaghetti! They’re very generous with the seafood! A must-try! The atmosphere in the restaurant is great, with an average cost of 20-30 pounds per person! Considering the prices and environment in London, it’s very good value! #HiddenGemRestaurant #London #LondonFood #FoodDiary #UK #ImperialCollege #2024fall #RestaurantIWIllVisitAgain #AtmosphericRestaurant #LondonFoodExploration
