➡️ Rooster Cafe Firenze I headed straight here at 10 a.m. right after getting off the train! The place isn't very big, but it's packed with tourists from all over the world. Even locals have trouble finding a seat and often have to wait outside! The walls are covered with messages from fans around the globe, including a recent one from a group of kids who came all the way from Canada just to eat here. The decor is very photogenic, blending historical charm with a fresh vibe. Both the ambiance and the food are top-notch. 😍 🥞🍓🍏 (Figure 1) Grandma Style // €8.5 Pancakes with syrup and seasonal fruit. It's pretty standard. 🧇🍗🥓🍳🥑🧀 (Figure 2) Chicken n‘Waffles Stoner’s version // €18.5 A globally unique combination of fried chicken and waffles. It looks amazing together, but it's best to eat them separately. The fried chicken is juicy and not dry at all, and it goes perfectly with the sauce. The waffles are crispy and freshly made. I enjoyed cutting a piece of waffle and pairing it with the sauced chicken as a tapa. The avocado mash is a great palate cleanser. 🍳🧀🍞 (Figure 3) Classic Benedict // €13 This is really well done. It has a special house-made sauce, and both the presentation and flavors are quite refined. 🥝🍸 (Figure 1) California Kiwi // €6.5 It has a lot of ginger, which gives it a soapy taste. Personally, I didn't enjoy it. 🍓🍌🥤 (Figure 2) Straw-Bury // €6 The strawberry-banana milkshake is quite tasty, above average. Many people come here to take photos, and the staff kindly gave us a glass of freshly squeezed blueberry juice. The Italian waitress was very friendly. On average, you can get full with one main dish and a drink. If you're traveling in Florence, a brunch here can easily cover breakfast, lunch, and more.
