What an incredible journey through one of Scotlandβs most stunning landscapes! We took a lovely break deep in the woods, and honestly, the weather was so kind to us that our rain gear stayed packed away while the sunscreen came out β a true Scottish miracle! βοΈπ§΄πΌ The scenery along the route was absolutely breathtaking, and we even met some lovely fellow walkers along the way β sharing stories and smiles made the experience even more special. π£π¬ Our days were packed with diverse and memorable activities: π’ Canal boat "Lock Action" β a hands-on, fun-filled water experience! ποΈ Exploring Fort Augustus β a charming village full of history and calm vibes β΅ Tall ship sightings gliding between pine-covered shores β pure magic! π² Mysterious forest trails covered in soft pine needles, with sunlight filtering through the trees π Narrow "sheep tracks" high above the lochs β offering postcard-worthy views at every turn! We used the GUIBO app, which worked flawlessly throughout the trip β reliable, user-friendly, and super helpful for navigation. The luggage transfer service was equally impressive β seamless and stress-free! ππ±β¨ Our hosts at each accommodation were not only warm and knowledgeable but often went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. π‘β€οΈ A little note for future walkers: while this is often labeled as an "introductory" trail, Iβd call it more "moderate" in intensity. Over the course of the route, we covered: π§ 130 km in total β°οΈ 1,540 m of ascent πΆ Highest point: 426 m π£ Over 190,000 steps!
