The Huge Fried Shrimp Everyone in Europe is Queuing For đŸ€

After indulging in several baguette sandwiches đŸ„–, I simply couldn’t bear to eat any more bread! đŸ˜” So, surprisingly, I decided to go for Japanese cuisine instead! 😂😂 But this place is truly worth the trek! It’s incredibly authentic! SANUKIYA is tucked away in a quiet alley in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. The restaurant itself is small, barely accommodating a few tables. Yet, while the street is quiet, there’s a long line outside this little spot, filled not just with Asians but also many Europeans, all eager to try their hand-crafted udon! đŸČ The owner and staff are all Japanese, giving it that family-run vibe. đŸ‘šâ€đŸ‘©â€đŸ‘§â€đŸ‘Š Their most popular dish is undoubtedly the tempura fried shrimp đŸ€ udon. The huge shrimp are fried to order with a light and crispy batter, and the shrimp meat is wonderfully chewy. The broth is a clear, fragrant fish bone soup, and the handmade udon is exceptionally bouncy and smooth—just like the flavors you’d find in Japan! 😋 Plus, it’s quite a treat to enjoy the long-missed kakuni (braised pork belly) in Paris! 😝 #JapaneseCuisineInParis #ParisRestaurantFinds #FoodieAdventuresInParis #RestaurantRecommendationsParis #JapaneseRamenInParis #GlobalFoodies
