The lagoon town from orange sunset to diamond Milky Way

Bros and sis! I'd call the town of Knysna in South Africa a "real-life oil painting filter"! The lagoon, the Milky Way, and the purple-hued sunset are so stunning that my phone's memory was almost full from taking photos. 📸 🏡 An accommodation mix-up turned out to be a heavenly bonus. There was a huge misunderstanding at the Pezula Resort! I almost took the room card of another guest with the same surname. 😂 Although I eventually found the right Airbnb, the hotel I mistakenly entered was like a fairy-tale castle. I regretted not booking it! 🌅 I highly recommend two mind-blowing sunset spots that will etch the purple sunset into your retinas: East Head View Point: Overlook the entire lagoon and the estuary. The lake water is so blue it looks like an overturned palette. Brenton-on-Sea Beach Lookout: Sitting on the hilltop bench waiting for the sunset, when the sun dyed the clouds purple and pink, I was moved to tears. Who can understand this feeling?😭 🍴 Healed by hot cocoa and starry skies. Even though there was a mix-up with the hotel, it didn't stop me from dining at its restaurant. The roasted lamb was so tender it was juicy, and the pasta was rich with cheese. The complimentary "whiskey hot cocoa" after the meal was super heartwarming! Stepping out of the restaurant and looking up – the entire Milky Way fell right into my eyes.🌌 When I was taking long-exposure photos of the starry sky with my iPhone, a sociable white guy came over to see how my photos turned out (foreigners are naturally sociable, aren't they?) 🌊 Enjoying the romantic morning of an empty beach. The next day, I was awakened by dew. Fog spread from the horizon. Walking down the path to the beach was shocking – the entire beach was just the two of us!! Walking barefoot on the sand, listening to the sound of the waves was so healing I was left speechless. 🧘 A slow-life assault on Leisure Island. Leisure Island Park is a paradise for the elderly. There are people running, people walking their dogs, and people sitting on benches daydreaming. The air is filled with a "take it slow" vibe. 🚗 Next stop preview: Heading to Tsitsikamma.
