The LIC New York girl finally found the zui authentic beef noodles!😭

“Gabu” means “eat rice” in Taiwanese—so from the name alone, you know this spot’s super Taiwanese! The restaurant blasts Mayday on loop, and the staff tosses in Taiwanese phrases now and then 🥹—no need to ask, it’s so authentic, right down to the food! They’re mainly takeout, but on weekends they stay open till midnight—total LIC late-night canteen vibes! There’s also a bar for dining in, though you can only order set meals if you eat in. Each set comes with a small plate of salted crispy chicken and stir-fried greens! 🌟 Braised Beef Noodle Soup Set The broth is simmered with beef bones and veggies—no powder! You can taste the pure, fresh flavors of the ingredients—I drank the whole bowl, I loved it so much! And the beef shank? Insanely thick—my arm almost got tired lifting it with chopsticks! Go eat this, ASAP!!! 🌟 Braised Pork Rice Set Golden braised pork rice is yyds! The fatty bits are braised till they’re glistening—there’s a little more fat than lean meat, but it’s so not greasy. That’s the soul of braised pork rice 🥹! This set also comes with a cup of Four Seasons Oolong tea—strong and fragrant 👍🏼. 🌟 Taiwanese Braised Delicacies Their braised beef shank is a must 🥺—super tender, perfectly braised, and so flavorful. Drizzle on the garlic sauce, and it’s heaven! The braised tofu is authentic too—just look at all the little holes; they’re so soaked in the sauce! 🌟 Fries If you dine in, they’ve got sweet potato fries. And at the bar (929), you can get truffle fries and spicy fries—so good! ⛳️ Gulp 42-45 27th St, Queens, NY 11101 (Heard they’re opening branches in JC and BK later!) #BeefNoodleSoup #AffordableEats #NYCEats #NYCFood #NYCTaiwaneseFood #LIC #LICFood #NewYorkFood #NewYorkLife #FoodieAdventures
