September 17, 2023: A Journey to Sun City, South Africa On September 17, 2023, I flew from Victoria Falls Airport back to Johannesburg and then drove 200 kilometers to Sun City. It was reported that a group of Chinese tourists traveling behind us were collectively robbed.😍😍😍 At around 9 PM, I checked into the renowned Sun City Resort Palace Hotel. The hotel, perched on the highest point in the center of Sun City, is surrounded by jungles, streams, and gardens. It is a super-luxury hotel themed around an ancient tribal palace, often referred to as The Palace Hotel of Lost City. It is listed as one of the world's top 10 hotels and is also the most luxurious and expensive hotel in Sun City.🤩🤩🤩 The hotel resembles an African castle, with its exterior architecture and carvings embodying the rugged and mystical style of Africa. All furniture, including the 8-meter-high wooden doors, is hand-carved and adorned with opulent and intricate reliefs. The carpets and other textiles are specially made, featuring patterns of animals and plants from the savannah. Additionally, there are waterfalls, springs, ponds, and tropical jungles, all classic African landscapes. Here, you can hear the sounds of waterfalls, fountains, and wildlife, offering an absolutely luxurious and authentic experience. It feels as if you are in ancient times. Guests staying at the hotel can show their room card to any Sun City staff member, who will immediately arrange a free car to take you back to the hotel or to any other destination within the resort.💕💕💕 Sun City is a popular tourist destination in South Africa and is also known for hosting the Miss World pageant. It is often referred to as a "Shangri-La." The resort features a uniquely designed artificial beach, a lifelike earthquake bridge, two world-famous golf courses, and an artificial lake. The beauty and charm of Sun City leave visitors spellbound.👌👌👌 The region has an arid inland climate, and all the trees are artificially planted. The springs, waterfalls, and lakes are all supplied with water from other sources and use recycled water. This is an astonishingly costly project. South African billionaire Sol Kerzner always dreamed of creating an entertainment center in the African jungle, similar to Las Vegas in the United States. The gambling city ranks sixth in the world.
