🌞 The Most Beautiful in Iceland: Art Museum 🌞
🌞 The National Gallery of Iceland (one of them) is truly fascinating, located right by Tjörnin Lake. 💎The simple yet elegant three-story white building is a delight. 🌞 Icelandic contemporary art is so intriguing—completely different from Italy’s, unburdened by heavy history. 🧶 💎The works of Icelandic artists are lighthearted and whimsical, tinged with melancholic absurdity and humor.🧶 🌞 My favorite piece was a carefully opened cabinet with an inscription: 💎"In memory of the Baka brothers and their achievement of bringing light from a hat into a windowless house." 💎(The Baka brothers are fools in Icelandic folklore, often symbolizing satirical figures lacking common sense.) 💌Another artwork was an installation called "Song Concert"—a door with singing, 💌applause, and chatter coming from inside, while outside hung a coat rack with a sign: 💌"Not responsible for lost coats." The scent of perfume and aftershave lingered in the air, telling the audience: 🔷You were invited, but you’re too late—entry is now closed. (At first, I didn’t even realize this was art! 🔷After reading the description, I was amazed—Icelanders truly have an artistic gift.) #Iceland #Reykjavik #IcelandTravel #ArtMuseum
