ππΈSakurajima π Transportation: After leaving Sengan-en Garden, head to the Kagoshima Aquarium Station, then take the ferry to Sakurajima. It only takes 15 minutes to get there. Once on Sakurajima, you can take a sightseeing bus to tour the island. π ππΈMust-See Spots & Attractions: Sakurajima is an active volcanic island with several interesting spots to visit. You can start by soaking your feet in the footbath park by the seaside, a perfect way to relax. π Then, take the sightseeing bus to Yunohira Lookout, a viewpoint where you can get up close to the volcano. The south crater of Sakurajima is always billowing with smoke, making for a truly spectacular sight. ππΈ The bus stops here for 15 minutes. If you feel that's not enough time, you can wait for the next bus to enjoy the volcanic scenery for a bit longer. β° Tenmonkan π Transportation: After returning to Kagoshima City by ferry, head to Tenmonkan. π ππΈ Must-See Spots & Attractions: Tenmonkan is Kagoshima's bustling commercial district, filled with many shops, restaurants, and cafes. You can stroll around, do some shopping, and experience the lively local atmosphere. ππΈIt's also a great place to enjoy dinner.
