The New Spot Definitely Didn’t Disappoint!

As die-hard fans of Bar Pompette, my girls and I have had this Italian-French bistro (from the same team, opened last year) on our must-try list forever. Quick Dish Reviews 📝 🥖 Bone Marrow Tartare – The showstopper, ordered by every table. Rich, flavorful beef paired with marrow—zero gaminess, amazing texture. 🍟 Frites – Crispy-on-the-outside, tender-inside duck-fat fries—unexpectedly delicious! 🍞 Brioche – A daily special starter: toasted butter bread with cheese, beets, and grilled fish. Tiny portion, meh taste—skip it. 🧀 Ravioli – Looks like a giant chocolate slab! Three filling options—we went with the classic mushroom sauce. Generous portion. 🍝 Duck Ragu – Loaded with tender duck, super flavorful. Pasta was a tad too al dente for me. 🦆 Duck Breast – The star of the night! Red wine sauce was perfectly balanced—rich but not heavy. Cooked tender, not too rare. 🧁 Tiramisu – A fancy tableside presentation, but taste-wise, just okay. 🍨 Banofee – Highly recommend! Nutty cookie crumble base + banana-vanilla ice cream mousse—unexpectedly divine combo! The space is cozy-chic, with a vintage French minimalist vibe (think Contrada or Laissez-Faire). Feels like stepping into an old European film—perfect for intimate gatherings or dates. 📍 Vinoteca Pompette #Toronto #TorontoEats #TorontoFoodie #TorontoLife #TorontoFoodExploration #TorontoRestaurants #TorontoDT #FoodieFinds #TorontoDining #TorontoBrunch
