The oxtail soup you must try when coming to Indonesia.

This is my second time visiting this restaurant! The food is really delicious! 📍Bogor cafe di Hotel Borobudur Jakarta ⭐️⭐️⭐️Sop Buntut legendaris🍟 This dish is absolutely the signature among the restaurant's signatures! 🍜 It's the first dish you see when you open the menu! There are several different preparation methods, and the Regular and Grilled ones are highly recommended.🍱 💫Regular It's a very traditional oxtail soup.🍲 The oxtail is stewed until extremely tender, melting in your mouth! The soup has a rich beefy flavor and is not greasy at all. 🥩The accompanying bitter fruit cake is really bitter 😭. It's said to help clear heat, but eating it dry is really a challenge 😭. Personally, I think you can soak it in the soup. Once it softens and soaks up all the soup, it's much easier to eat! 💫Grilled Unlike the traditional oxtail soup, in this preparation method, the oxtail and the soup are separated. It comes with the exact same side dishes as the regular one—rice, bitter fruit cake, and pickled vegetables.🥬🥕 The oxtail prepared this way has a rich charred aroma, and the meaty flavor wrapped in the sauce has more layers 😻. It's still extremely tender, and the meat comes off the bone easily.🍳 Personally, I find the beef fat in the grilled version more palatable. The beef fat in the traditional version is fragrant but retains a strong oily texture, while the grilled one is much less greasy. ⭐️⭐️Aneka Sate Indonesia Satay, a special Indonesian snack, is also a must-try dish here.🍝 This satay platter includes beef, chicken, and mutton. Personally, I like the chicken one the most. The rice cakes that come with it are quite bland and can be eaten with the accompanying sauce on the side🍔 The mutton satay looks a bit like lamb skewers, but the texture is completely different 😻. The accompanying garlic slices do a great job of masking the muttony smell, making it very smooth to eat.🍙 ⭐️Borobudur ice tea It's a very refreshing and heat-relieving drink! Perfect for having after sweating a lot. It looks a bit like iced black tea, but its taste is definitely more complex! Personally, I find it slightly sweet, but not the kind that's cloyingly sweet. I really love the oxtail soup here. Every time I come to Indonesia, I want to come here for a bowl. #Indonesia #IndonesiaTravel #IndonesiaFoodAndFun #WhatToEatInIndonesia #OxtailSoup
