The Perfect Summer Day: Butchart Gardens + Afternoon Tea 🌸✨
🌼🌼First stop on our trip to Victoria Island, BC, Canada—the legendary Butchart Gardens! Summer blooms in full glory, making this the peak of its beauty!🌺 Here's a quick review of our garden stroll and tea time~ 📍 Address: 800 Benvenuto Ave, Brentwood Bay The gardens are west-central on the island, halfway between the airport/ferry and downtown Victoria. 🌸✨ Huge parking lot—no stress!🚗 💰 Tickets 🌏🌸Prices vary by season; early August was $36.5 CAD/person. Weekends: Buy tickets in advance. We went Friday afternoon and bought on-site—no problem! ⏰ Recommended Time: 1.5-2 hours (not including tea) 🌸 The Gardens Four main areas: Sunken Garden, Rose Garden, Japanese Garden, and Italian Garden. 🌏🌸 The Mediterranean Garden is outside the main area—we skipped it due to time. Follow the official map's suggested route, or grab a map onsite. 💐 Flowers Galore! Every summer bloom you can imagine, plus tons you can't name!🌼🌻🌷 ☕🍰🥐 Afternoon Tea at The Dining Room: $52.5 CAD/person As a tea lover in Victoria's British-inspired culture, skipping afternoon tea is a crime!😉 🌸✨ We didn't book (online reservations were full), but walked in on a Friday at 2 PM—lucky us! Foodie verdict: Delicious!😋 Scones were a bit hard, but the savory mini sandwiches (loved the quiche and smoked tuna) were amazing. Desserts were varied, and the tea was stellar! We tried Rose Congou and Bachelor Button—so fragrant! Ambiance: Beautiful indoors and out. We sat outside to enjoy the garden views.🌿 ⚠️ Note: Last tea order at 3:30 PM; the restaurant closes until 5 PM for dinner.🌸✨ Wishing you a magical day at Butchart Gardens!🌼🌼🌼 #VictoriaIsland #VictoriaTravel #ButchartGardens 🌏🌸
