The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans 🏢 | Overlooking the Mississippi River
#HotelReview This hotel may be housed in a small, classic building, but it radiates timeless elegance and sophistication. The décor is refined and nostalgic, and many guests dress with such style—it truly feels like stepping back into medieval Europe! 👑✨ Location: Excellent — right in the heart of downtown New Orleans. Walkable to many attractions, including the French Quarter (a wild and vibrant area, to say the least 😅), Jackson Square, and the banks of the Mississippi River. Dining options are abundant (New Orleans oysters are a must-try! 🦪). We even booked a tour through Expedia to cruise the river and spot alligators and "raccoons" 🐊🦝. Service: The staff here, like most New Orleanians, are incredibly warm and welcoming! 🤗 Rooms: Cozy and reminiscent of SpringHill Suites in layout. Though not spacious, the rooms are thoughtfully designed with distinctive décor — "small but complete." I found it quite comfortable for my stay. 🛏️ Common Areas: It’s like having an art gallery right downstairs! Several floors of beautifully designed public spaces perfect for photos, plus a lovely little garden. The attention to detail is impressive, and even the common areas remain quiet and peaceful — hardly crowded at all. 🌿📸 #StudyAbroadDiary #NewOrleans #MississippiRiver #Louisiana #TravelGuide #WouldYouVisitNewOrleans
