The River Cafe in New York: A Visual and Gastronomic Delight

🌟Sample Menu: You can choose 3 courses, but the chef also sends out an amuse-bouche and a surprise appetizer, which during our visit were tuna tartare and pork belly with a waffle and berries, making it a total of 5 courses. 🌟🌟For the regular courses, we opted for beef tartare and wild shrimp for the appetizer, both delicious and no misses. The beef tartare is mixed for you. 🌟🌟For the main course, we chose duck and lobster. The portions are very generous; you’ll be quite full by this point. The duck was substantial, topped with a layer of Sichuan pepper and black pepper, which created a lively mouthfeel – a unique but tasty combination. The lobster was slightly on the salty side. 🌟For dessert, we had the Brooklyn Bridge and a $25 dessert flight, which included 3 glasses of wine. It was good, though I’m not a wine connoisseur, and one of the wines was quite tart for my taste. 🌟🌟If you’re driving, just drive in and they’ll park your car for you at no extra charge. Tipping is appreciated. #NewYork #NewYorkFoodie #NewYorkMichelin #NewYorkRestaurants #NewYorkWeekend
