The stunning free exhibition of Chiharu Shiota is a must-see in Paris!

♦️ Gather at the Grand Palais in Paris with your cameras📷 It’s breathtakingly beautiful‼️ ♦️ Even if you’ve seen Chiharu Shiota’s work before, friends recommend going to this entrance to experience the live scene: ✨ The Grand Palais limited edition backdrop is stunningly impactful✨ Tip: Today, the outside security check and entering the Grand Palais just involves a quick question about having a ticket without actually checking it. if this will change later, so everyone, hurry up and visit! ♦️ "Whether it’s awe-inspiring, astonishing, or calming, Chiharu Shiota’s installation art is always captivating. When faced with her complex web of threads, which includes suitcases, dresses, and even windows, one can’t help but wonder about the quantity of materials used in these works and the amount of work required to arrange them. But beyond these extraordinary technical aspects, what’s more important is the universality in her works that encourages the audience to question and ponder. Although her inspiration often comes from personal or intimate situations, she is mainly exploring the meaning of intangible concepts: memory, trauma, death, and the more general themes of presence and absence, which form the core of her thoughts. Through these concepts that transcend walls and boundaries, the artist achieves her creative vision of ‘connecting with the broader spectrum of human emotions,’ allowing audiences worldwide to find an echo of their own emotions in her works. This exhibition is the largest-scale tribute to her in Europe in the history of the ‘Grand Palais.’ With seven large-scale installation works, the audience can experience those ‘Shocks of the Soul.’" ♦️ It’s also a great exhibition to bring kids to; they’ll be wide-eyed with wonder. Unexpectedly, I had a wonderful conversation with my daughter about ordinary life memories, home, relationships, leaving, and death thanks to her questions about these scenes and each work introduction. The ‘Miniature World’ section is something girls will really love! My daughter, Warmer, directly commented for the first time: ‘I really like this exhibition’ (she couldn’t help but take a ton of photos - Photo 2 is her work) 📍 Grand Palais 🕒 December 11, 2024 - March 19, 2025 Tuesday to Sunday 10:00-19:30, Friday until 22:00, Closed on Mondays (*Exceptionally closed on 12.25/1.28/2.9-2.12 *18:00 closure on 12.24/31 *18:30 closure on 2.5) 💰 Single entry ticket: Adults 14€, 18-25 years old 11€ Free pass 17€ per person, no time limit, no queue Free for under 18s🆓 No ticket or reservation required #MustSeeExhibitionRecommendation #StunninglyBeautifulExhibitionForPhotos #ArtExhibition #ParisExhibition #ChiharuShiota #Paris #ParisTravel #ParisPhotoSpots #DailyLifeWithKids #ExhibitionOutfit
