The summer in Maine is so blissful!

Caught the last glow of East Coast summer and finally went to the dreamy shores of Maine with Beibei! 🥰 We ate delicious uni, giant lobsters, blueberry soda, ice cream… my heart (and stomach) is full! Day 1️⃣ New York ✈️ Portland (~1.5h flight) 🐟 Rushed to ISF Trading right before they closed at 4pm and scored some salty fresh uni and a sashimi platter! 🍣 Also grabbed nori and instant rice to make our own hand rolls — so fresh and sweet, no extra seasoning needed. Highly recommend! 🛍️ Strolled along Commercial Street — lots of cute little shops perfect for picking up souvenirs. 🍨 Tried the lobster ice cream at Gelato Fiasco — salty but surprisingly delicious and super creamy! Day 2️⃣ Rented a car 🚗 and drove ~2 hours to Acadia 🍩 Before hitting the road, grabbed goodies from Holy Donut and Tandem Coffee + Bakery Holy Donut’s potato-based donuts are extra fluffy 🍩 — my fave was the maple bacon 🥓 sweet, salty, and super crispy! Tandem’s line gets long — order ahead! ☕ Their coffee is a bit acidic, but the savory pepper jam biscuit is absolutely worth it 🤤 The scones are also incredibly soft — perfect with pepper jam and cream cheese 🛍️ Stopped at the famous Patagonia Outlet along the way — copped a baby blue lightweight puffer for a good price! You gotta dig though. 🦞 Picked up a lobster roll from Eagle’s Nest near Bar Harbor — packed with meat, crispy bread, sooo good! Day 3️⃣ Acadia National Park all day! 📍 Sand Beach → Ocean Path (the latter is more scenic and easier to park!) 📍 Otter Cliff — the water here is a deeper, mesmerizing blue 💙 📍 Cadillac Mountain — must reserve tickets in advance! 🏔️ super windy up there but the panoramic views are unreal 📍 Jordan Pond — that iconic view! 🏞️ We were too tired for the full trail but got some gorgeous photos 🦞 Beal’s Lobster Pier — picked a huge live lobster 🦞 boiled and served with butter… incredible! The drive there was pretty too 🦞 Galyn’s — ended the day with their lobster dinner (no shell-breaking needed… bliss!) 🍨 Jordan Pond — don’t miss the blueberry ice cream here!! Bursting with real berries, I had it two days in a row 😍 🌄 Agamont Park — perfect spot to enjoy your ice cream and watch the sunset 🌅 so chill~ #Portland #AcadiaNationalPark #LobsterLover #FoodDiary
