The twilight in Bratislava, the capital city, is truly beautiful.

European cities each have their own unique charm, and every casual snapshot feels like a postcard (I used the iPhone's built-in lighting adjustments). This National Day holiday, I changed my usual travel style of spending over 10 days in a single country for a deep dive. This time, I visited four cities in 11 days: Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Austria (even though I've been there before), and Hungary.😁😁😁 Let me share my experience in Slovakia. In the morning, I got caught in the rain in Szentendre (also known as the "Shandan" town) in Budapest, which put a damper on my mood. So in the afternoon, when I arrived in Slovakia and saw the sunshine, I felt much more comfortable and relaxed (especially because there were fewer people). Slovakia was part of Hungary before World War I. The capital, Bratislava, is a small city that you can easily explore in half a day. Here are some of the highlights: - **Main Square and the Cumil Statue**: The statue of the sewer worker "peeking" at passersby is quite amusing.❤️❤️❤️ - **Schöne Naci Statue**: A charming figure in a tailcoat holding a top hat. - **Old Town Hall, Bratislava Castle, and the UFO Bridge (Most SNP)**: These landmarks are all very picturesque. - **Blue Church, Archbishop's Palace, Trinity Church, and St. Martin's Cathedral**: All of these places are quite beautiful. While exploring, I also saw a few couples getting married in churches, which was very touching and full of ceremony. In addition to the weddings, I encountered a large protest supporting Palestine. Every trip to Europe includes indulging in ice cream 🍦 and buying cute fridge magnets. Since Bratislava uses the euro (€), there's no need to do mental math to convert currencies (and no worries about being shortchanged). I bought a special souvenir here—a €0 commemorative coin for €9.50, and fridge magnets typically cost around €4-5 each. Overall, this small but developed European city is definitely worth a city walk. Of course, the weather is crucial! The scenery in Europe is vastly different with and without sunshine. On a sunny day, even the twilight is as beautiful as a painting.😻😻😻 Every trip is a learning experience. Either the body or the mind should always be on the road. #AroundTheWorld #MyTravelDiary #OffTheBeatenPath #EuropeTravel #EasternEuropeTravel #Slovakia #Europe #NationalDayTravel #PersonalGrowth #Bratislava
