The two most famous brands in Prague—which one to choose?
💦Due to tax refund requirements, you need to spend at least 2,000 Czech koruna to qualify. 💦Since I wasn’t buying much, the tax refund wasn’t a concern for me. Still, I chose Botanicus. Here’s why: 💦Manufacture: Their small bottle options were limited. 💦 Since I didn’t check any luggage and could only carry containers under 100ml, my choices were few. 🌟The salesperson’s recommendations didn’t appeal to me much either. 🌟The only thing that caught my interest was their shampoo and shower gel, 🌟but it was quite expensive—a small bottle (50ml or 80ml, I can’t remember) cost over 5 euros, which was beyond my budget. So, I didn’t buy anything and moved on to the second store. 🌈Botanicus: Botanicus is the No. 1 skincare brand in the Czech Republic, with only two stores in Prague, both located near the Týn Church. 🌈 If you walk through the archway behind the church, you’ll find the shop. ✅As soon as you enter, a staff member speaking Taiwanese-accented Mandarin will ask whether you’re with a tour group or traveling independently. ✅ If you’re a free traveler, they’ll give you a 2% discount card. ✅The store was packed with tourists, mostly from tour groups, so the shopping experience wasn’t the best. 😝However, the Chinese-speaking staff made product selection much easier. 😝Their star products include the Rose Night Eye Cream, Rose Toner, Lip Balm Oil, and Rose Mask. #PragueSkincare #PragueTravel #CzechRepublic #TravelShopping
