The Ultimate No-Backtracking One-Day Venice Itinerary is Here!❗️

1️⃣ Ponte degli Scalzi (Barefoot Bridge) 👣 2️⃣ Rialto Bridge: The view from the bridge is straight out of an elementary school textbook! 📖✨ 3️⃣ St. Mark’s Square: Be extremely careful of pickpockets here – it’s always crowded! ⚠️👛 4️⃣ Bridge of Sighs: Make sure to take photos from underneath the bridge – it’s incredibly photogenic! If a gondola passes by at the right moment, it’s pure magic. 📸🛶💋 5️⃣ Waterfront: The night views here are absolutely stunning – Venice’s unique blue romance shines here. 🌌💙 👆🏻Follow this order for a perfect day of city walking – no backtracking needed! ✅ 🚢 Transportation: If you have a full day, city walk is great – all spots are close to each other. 🚶‍♀️ For the water bus (vaporetto): Single ticket: €9.5 💶 (valid for 75 minutes, unlimited transfers within that time). 1-day pass: €25 💶 | 2-day pass: €35 💶. To share a gondola with others: €80 per boat – perfect for exploring Venice’s narrow canals. 🛶💶 Water taxi: Available at docks, similar to regular taxis but more expensive. 🚤 🏠 Accommodation: Avoid staying on the main island – we chose a B&B in Mestre near the train station. €65 💶 per night for two. Taking the train to the main island in the morning is easy (€1.45 per trip, frequent departures – just buy tickets on the spot). 🚉 🍔🍝🧀🍕 Must-Try Food spots (No regrets!): ✅ On Lucia Island: 📍Fried Land (a small shop hidden in a narrow alley): Squid ink pasta: €8 💶 (perfect blend of tomato and squid ink sauce – tastes just as good as high-end restaurants!). Fried seafood: €8 💶. 📍Suso Gelato Pretty average – similar to most gelato shops in Italy. One cone + two scoops: €4 💶. 🍦 ✅ In Mestre: 📍Da Michele (right next to the train station – incredibly delicious!!! 🏆): Seafood pasta: €21 💶 (huge portion – enough for two people). We didn’t realize the size and ordered two… couldn’t finish it! 🤦🏻‍♀️ 📍 Northeast Chinese BBQ: Grilled fish: €28 💶 (right by the train station – perfect for a meal before catching your train). There are several great Chinese restaurants near the station. 🚉 ✅ For more photogenic spots, check out my previous post! 📸 #LifeAesthetics #Italy #TravelItaly #LifeInItaly #Rome #DailyLife #CulturalSites #Venice #VeniceWaterCity #StudyAbroad
