Queenstown—it was so fun and delicious, it’s become my forever "white moonlight" destination. I’d definitely revisit! Here’s my personally tested itinerary and food guide for my fellow sisters: 🏡 Accommodation: Mercure Queenstown Resort Many girls recommended The Rees, but since we booked last-minute, their lakeside rooms were sold out. So we chose Mercure—and it was a pleasant surprise! Perched on a hill by the lake (10-min walk), it offers unobstructed views of the water and boats, with a serene vibe. The hotel has a pool, a big dining area, and a lakeside terrace with swings—even prettier than The Rees at half the price! 🍽️ Must-Try Food: Fergburger 🍔 The legendary "bigger-than-your-face" burger—lives up to the hype! Must order The Big AL: double beef patties, two eggs, bacon… SO. BIG. We confidently ordered two (despite the staff’s skeptical looks) and were stunned when we saw them. Patagonia Ice Cream 🍨 No girl can resist this! 🍦 Super creamy and photogenic. The line moves fast, but the richness is almost too much—sitting on the second-floor couch, watching everyone outside with their cones, I realized… not all humans share the same ice cream capacity. 😂 Flame Bar & Grill � A trendy spot, but 100% worth it—their grilled meats are 🔥. Cookie Time 🍪 Happy Hour (6-7 PM) = buy one, get one free! Freshly baked cookies with melty chocolate—only $4 for two! ⛷️ Things to Do: Onsen Hot Pools ♨️ Choose the indoor pool—way more photogenic! 📸 The outdoor ones have an awkward wooden panel. TSS Earnslaw Steamship 🚢 A classic Queenstown experience—ride a 100-year-old steamship with a handsome captain and a funny old man playing piano. The round trip takes 2 hours, but you can also opt for the farm tour (4-5 hrs) to see sheep and enjoy a buffet. Skyline Gondola + Luge 🚡 Take the gondola up for insane views (great for photos!). Stay till sunset—when the town lights up, it’s like a fairy tale. Skydiving 🪂 We booked a newbie-friendly mid-height jump, but weather delays ruined our plans… Still, highly recommend trying it in NZ!
