πŸŽ„ The Upcoming Christmas: Every London Restaurant is Beautiful πŸŽ„

The renowned greenhouse restaurant, where several of my friends chose for their birthdays because of its decor, caught my eye last year with its too-fancy Christmas limited decorations at the entrance. I was so captivated that I booked a dinner in the ground floor greenhouse well in advance. The interior is truly romantic, filled with holly and pine needle Christmas decorations as soon as you enter. The ceiling retains the restaurant's original white floral materials, and all the pillars and fireplaces in the dining room are adorned with green leaves and Christmas ornaments, creating a great date atmosphere πŸŽ„ But the food is really disappointing. Orkney Scallops, Roasted Cauliflower Puree, Caper, Raisin, Coconut & Lemongrass The only edible dish, the scallops are tender but the seasoning is neither fresh nor fragrant. Wild Cep Mushroom Risotto, Roasted Ceps, Parmesan Crisp (V) I ordered the mushroom risotto purely to reduce the chances of a culinary disaster. It's a basic dish that can't go too wrong, but the crisp on top is unnecessary and detracts from the dish. Merryfield Duck Breast, Szechuan Pepper, Mandarin Orange, Rainbow Chard ❌ If you want to avoid major disappointments, stick to the first two dishes. I've posted live images, and whether it's worth going or not is a matter of personal taste. The prices for individual dishes are not high, so if you like taking photos and want to experience the atmosphere, it's still worth considering. #LondonRestaurantRecommendations #Inspiration #LondonLife #LondonExploration #UK #BritishLife #LondonFoodExploration #LondonFoodie #ChristmasRestaurants
