The whole eel over rice from the comics 🍶

Recently, I’ve fallen super hard for this Japanese fine dining restaurant 〈Akatuki〉. I’ve probably been there 5,678 times with my girls! 🍶 Choosing to celebrate my birthday here 🎉🍰 was a great decision; the atmosphere is on point, and the lighting is absolutely gorgeous 🫰 It didn’t let down this photo-loving Chinese woman. Every dish is a stunner in terms of looks. Grilled Eel Donburi £23.8 The new eel rice dish is like it jumped straight out of a Japanese anime, with a whole eel generously laid over the plump rice grains, drenched in sauce. The mix is truly out of this world! Kaminari Flame Skewers £14.8 The combination of beef tongue and cherry tomatoes is, honestly, not something I had high hopes for, but I ordered it just for that 🔥🔥🔥 live action pic 😉 The taste was surprisingly good, and as a starter, it was very well thought out. Of course, a bit more quantity would have been even better. Nigiri & Sashimi Set £26.8/pp All-you-can-eat sashimi; this sushi box is a visual treat… so full of fresh fish, vibrant colors, and ultra-high in looks. The freshness is truly unparalleled! I absolutely love the salmon, rich in fat with an amazing texture, and the sweet shrimp, with a refreshingly sweet taste that’s so satisfying!
