The Wind Is Free — and So Are We 🛶🌬️
My Last Kayak Trip in Ann Arbor It’s funny how you only truly begin to appreciate a place when you’re about to leave. This was my final kayak adventure in AA before moving away 🥹. Now that I’ve started working in another state, I find myself missing those silly moments with my roommates, those lazy weekends with Arthur… and yes, even his terribly awkward photo skills 📸😅. 🛶 Kayak Route Tips: We started at Argo Park Canoe & Kayak 🚣 and gently paddled downstream. The current carries you smoothly—so you can truly relax and soak in the views. We ended at Gallup Park Canoe & Kayak, where a shuttle bus picked us up and brought us back to the Argo parking lot 🚌. Since we love walking, we strolled about 20 minutes toward Central Campus and ended up in downtown Ann Arbor for a well-deserved meal 🍴🌳. This trip reminded me that some journeys aren’t just about the place—but who you’re with, and the freedom you feel along the way 💖. Maybe true freedom isn’t about being somewhere new… It’s about carrying that sense of peace and joy wherever you go. Have you ever experienced a kayak trip like this? Where would you and your favorite person paddle together? #SeeTheWorldByBoat #KayakLife #TravelWithLove #PaddleAway #WindAndFreedom
