The World's Largest Sausage Restaurant 🍻 Introduction

✅Nürnberger Rostbratwürsten is the most famous snack in Nuremberg. Compared to other grilled sausages, the biggest difference is its size. Nürnberger Rostbratwürsten are typically only thumb-sized, thin and short. While regular grilled sausages are 18 centimeters long and weigh between 90-110 grams, Nürnberger Rostbratwürsten are only 7-9 centimeters long and weigh no more than 25 grams. ✅Bratwurst Röslein is the world's largest sausage restaurant, with a history dating back to 1493. Located in the heart of Nuremberg's old town, opposite the city hall and adjacent to the world-famous Christmas market (Nürnberger Hauptmarkt, Hauptmarkt 25, 90403 Nürnberg). ✅The restaurant has four different dining areas with a warm atmosphere, accommodating up to 600 guests, and the beer garden has 250 seats. The Förster family and the Röslein team run the restaurant in the tradition of a Franconian tavern. ✅The menu and daily specials offer delicious, freshly prepared dishes from the Franconian region, almost all sourced from local suppliers. The highlight of "Röslein's" is, of course, the authentic Nürnberger grilled sausages, made according to the traditional recipe of master butcher Michael Förster from the old town. ✅Historical records from around 1600 show that famous patrons included Albrecht Dürer, Hans Sachs, Adam Kraft, Peter Vischer, and Willibald Pirkheimer. ✅Real Experience: The food didn't taste that great to me, perhaps because I generally don't find German cuisine appealing. The sausages were very salty and not very flavorful. The sauerkraut was quite sour. The vegetable salad dressing was okay, but the vegetables clearly had been sitting out for a while, with the stems turning black. The seasonal soup was the best part of the meal. The service was quite disorganized; the sausages arrived before the drinks. Surprisingly, the vegetable salad was served last.
