🦕🪸🔮 The World of Specimens at Berlin's Natural History Museum 💛ིྀ

Ever since I saw Shuige's European diary at the end of last year 📼, I've been eager to visit this renowned museum with a history of over 130 years and a collection of 25 million specimens of various types. 🦕 In the central hall of the exhibition, you'll find the tallest dinosaur skeleton in the world currently on display, the Brachiosaurus, a dinosaur that lived 150 million years ago in Tanzania's Tanganyika region. Its skeleton stands at 13.27 meters. 🌝 And guess what, this dinosaur skeleton is real!!!!! 🧪 Opening the door to the specimen lab, I was a bit apprehensive— it's so cult-like! Various 🐟🐛🐍 are preserved in formaldehyde, and the vast lab is filled with countless specimens. 🦘 There are specimens of all kinds of ferocious beasts 🐯🦁️🦓🐎🐨🐗, and even a panda 🐼 specimen, along with a documentary on how the panda was prepared. 🪸 There's also an extensive collection of minerals from around the world. The space isn't large, but the display cases are packed full. Across from the exit, you'll find the museum's cultural and creative products ✿ 🧵 🔖 Open Tue-Fri 9:30-18:00, Sat-Sun 10:00-18:00 🎫 Purchase directly on 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙜𝙡𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙥, adult tickets are 11€, and family tickets are 18€. Wishing everyone a happy weekend!!! #OffTheBeatenPath #CapturingTheMoment #ThisTemplateHasSwag #Berlin #WeekendGetaway #NaturalHistoryMuseum #GermanMuseums #CulturalAttractions #Germany #WhereToGo
