Theodora 🐟 The elusive Theodora! In mid-June, I was thrilled to see a release for dinner reservations for the first two days of the month and managed to secure a spot. 🌟 ✦ Whipped Ricotta Sourdough: This bread, ordered by almost every table, is a must-try. The combination of brown butter and honey is simply divine, making it one of the best ricotta breads in New York. 🥪 ✦ Hirmasa: Yellowtail, finger lime, avocado, and Japanese broth. The broth is exceptionally well-seasoned, truly a standout. 🍣 ✦ Octopus: Grilled octopus, red onion, zucchini, peas, and fried sweet potato chips. Tavern-style octopus rarely goes wrong. 🦑 ✦ Steelhead Trout: Trout, yogurt cucumber, and fruit salad. This dish was decent but didn't leave a particularly memorable impression. 🐟 ✦ Lamb Laffa: Lamb wrap with four sauces. It was satisfying and filling, though the flavors were average. 🍔 🐟Theodora offers larger portions compared to other taverns and restaurants in the same price range that I've recently visited. In terms of taste, looking back, only the ricotta sourdough left a lasting impression and makes me want to return. The other dishes were good, occasionally surprising, but not enough to make me come back specifically for them. 🐟 It might just be a matter of personal taste, as there are still many positive reviews online, so it's definitely worth a try. 🌟 ☽ 7 Greene Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11238 #RecorderOfRomanticLife #NewYork 🌟
