Find Things to DoFind The Best Restaurants

This cave restaurant is amazing, it really hits the spot for me. 🌟🍴

🦐 This little tavern, or should I say, cave-like restaurant, is tucked away on a winding path and not so easy to find. As soon as you enter, you're struck by the decor and the brimming fresh seafood counter. I had a feeling this meal was going to be great. 🦐 We ordered their signature fried flowers, scampi, oysters, pasta, and grilled lamb chops, paired with a bottle of Italian red wine, 2016 Amarone. The fried flowers and vegetables were so interesting, filled with cheese and minced meat. Each scampi was large and fresh, and the oysters were Gillardeau, sweet and fresh. They were incredibly delicious, instantly capturing my taste buds and making me glad for the trip. 🦐 Next up were the truffle pasta and grilled lamb chops. Italian pasta, honestly, rarely disappoints and is mostly delicious. It's like how any random hot dry noodle place in Wuhan won't taste bad. The lamb chops had no gamey flavor, and the accompanying potatoes were good too. 🦐 The wine we chose today was spot on, with a rich aroma of red fruit. Just a whiff and I was almost tipsy. Sipping and savoring, it was very pleasant. The restaurant's atmosphere and service were both exceptional. The Italian gentleman serving our table was incredibly warm and attentive. 🦐 In Italy, restaurants don't add a mandatory service charge like in the UK. It's all about truly impressing the guests with service. I hadn't left a tip all week because I hadn't been impressed, but I gave this gentleman 20 euros because he truly deserved it. He was very considerate. 🦐 In summary, it was a perfect meal. From the drinks to the service, from the dishes to the ambiance and price, everything was well worth the visit. I hope you'll like it too. Price: 30-100 euros per person 💶 #RomeRestaurants #RomeFood #RomeFoodie #ItalyRomeExploration #RomePasta #RomeHiddenGems #RomeBoutiqueRestaurants #RomeTaverns #MustEatInRome #RomeRestaurantRecommendations #Italy
